“WE HAVE TWO EARS AND ONE MOUTH SO THAT WE CAN LISTEN TWICE AS MUCH AS WE SPEAK”
I love this adage because this is a good reminder for us that we should be very extra careful with the words that will come out in our mouth. Some words can encourage us however some words can stir our heart so let us learn to listen twice as much as we speak. If people know how to listen then conflict can be avoided.
