According to the book of Joel Osteen, faith has to do with the unseen world. Therefore, we all need to sustain our faith especially when the things we hoped for seem so dark and dreary. In our human understanding, we tend to lose hope when the world is pressing against us. But, let us all remember that God is still in Control with the unseen world.

I know it’s hard but let’s sustain our Faith in God.

I quote from the book of Joel Osteen. For me, this is the ideal journey in our life. But sometimes, problems would pound at us thus make our journey not pleasurable and hinder us to reach our desired destination.

Despite of everything, let’s always look at the brighter side of our journey. Problems would really come and go. Let us just enjoy our journey and reach our desired destination with a happy heart.

I was touched when I read this line; Learn to be happy even when things don’t go your way from the book of Joel Osteen because for me, it’s very hard to be happy when things don’t come the way I expected to be. But, I will try to develop this kind of attitude.

Learn to fight against temptations

Temptations are here, there, everywhere and I believe that nobody is exempted. We all have our own temptations in life. For instance, a person is tempted to set out his anger to the point of hurting others but the most important thing is that, a person must have control over his emotions and not to give in into the temptations of anger. We should remind ourselves that we have our own will to resists any forms of temptations in life. The best thing to fight temptation is to seek God’s guidance and grace.

Saint Valentine

Today- February 14 is the feast day of St. Valentine. He is the Patron Saint of Love, Happy Marriages, Engaged couples, Healer for the paralyzed and Protector for lovers. According to the video, St. Valentine was a courageous priest who died for love and lived to share.

 

Some of us believe for the intercession of some saints and so we ask saints to pray for us in times of difficulty. But in my case, I do ask for an intercession for some particular saints to pray for me.

Questions to ask if you are planning to have dental braces

My friend and I have a bad experience with our dentist. In order to avoid conflict to your dentist you should have ask this questions first before planning for braces.

1. What is the mode of the payment? For instance, Pay every visit for adjustment or pay monthly even if there’s no adjustment that happens.

2. How long are you going to have braces? The longer the years that your wear it the better.

3. In the receipt, let the secretary or the dentist place the remaining balance.

4. Is the cleaning for free?

5. Is there any payment if the brace was detached?

Always Say A Prayer (ASAP)

While I was reading, I saw the word ASAP so I thought of the meaning As Soon As Possible but to my surprised there was another meaning and that was Always Say A Prayer by –C.P Hia.



I was recalling of a certain moment in my life where I stopped saying my prayer to God because I was in troubled. Disappointments came in because I can no longer see God and it seems that God was hiding in the very dark moments in me. But I was guilty because just recently I read a passage Pray without ceasing that can be found in 1 Thessalonians 5:14. Through this, I got a lesson that even in happy times and in dark times I should remember to Always Say A Prayer.

No Where To Go

I had known someone who is confused with her life. She doesn’t know where her life is going. She has some troubles in life in which she doesn’t know why she needs to encountered such big troubles. She prayed and went to church; still, her problem seems no answer at all. All I can do is to pray for my friend. I am hoping that God will help her.
